Who We Are

Florida Youth Hunts.com is maintained by the staff of Allied Sportsmen’s Associations of Florida, with the assistance of many of its member organizations. The site was made possible through a generous grant from the Florida Legislators' Sportsmen's Caucus and the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses.
This site is dedicated to prompting safe, ethical hunting and conservation opportunities for youth in Florida. That is its sole purpose.

What is Florida Youth Hunts?

Florida Youth Hunts.com is designed to be a one-stop shop for youth and their parents or guardians to learn about youth hunting and conservation opportunities throughout Florida. It is our hope that this site will help foster and promote safe, ethical hunting experiences for our young people and that it will lead to an increase in sustained hunting activities in Florida.
Parents and guardians will be pleased to know that the opportunities listed on Florida Youth Hunts.com have been vetted to make sure the events are conducted by responsible organizations. Many of the events are sponsored by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, but this site is independent from FWCC. The site was made possible through a grant funded by the Florida Legislators’ Sportsmen’s Caucus and the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses.
Organizations that wish to submit an opportunity for posting on the web site are asked to complete the form provided on the opening page. By the end of the 2008-09 hunting season, we will have an area on the web site dedicated to showcasing the accomplishments of youth who participate in the events listed on this site. You will be able to submit photographs for posting on the site and parents/guardians will be asked to submit a release document approving the posting of the photo.
